LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Little Rock Fashion Week (LRFW) will headline the Seventh Annual Midsouth Summit Black Expo with a fashion presentation, highlighting a few clothing lines to be featured at Little Rock Fashion Week 2011.

The expo is February 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Metroplex, located 10800 Colonel Glenn Road. The LRFW presentation is scheduled for 1:40 p.m. The expo and fashion show is free and is open to the public.

Attendees will get a sneak peak into this summer’s favorite fashion experience. The LRFW showcase will preview sophisticated, trendy and couture fashions by Savers, the Nicole McGehee Collection (LRFW 2010 Clothing Line of the Year), NaJo by Natasha Rawls (LRFW 2009 Clothing Line of the Year) and introduce Graffiti by 13-year old fashion designer Aaliyah Fisher, who will become the youngest designer to ever showcase in a fashion week. Clothes will be worn on the runway by some of LRFW’s best male and female models.

LRFW creator and executive Brandon D. Campbell will serve as the master of ceremonies. Kawasha Freeman, operator of Lou’s House of Design, is the key hairstylist and Tonya Zambrano, of Lancome Cosmetics at Dillard’s McCain Mall, is the key make-up artist.

The Seventh Annual Midsouth Summit Black Expo, presented by the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Institute Cancer Control Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), celebrates Black history month and promotes health education in the Black community.

Founded in 2009 by Campbell, LRFW is quickly becoming the fastest growing fashion week in the nation. It’s an experience like no other in Arkansas, highlighting the talents of local and national designers, models, hairstylists, make-up artists and musicians. LRFW connects creative minds to consumers and buyers, and connects businesses to target customers. More importantly, LRFW promotes community involvement and togetherness. The Third Annual Little Rock Fashion Week is July 11-16 in downtown Little Rock.
