Welcome to America, SKK Italy!

Welcome to America, SKK Italy!

All the way from Venice, Italy and the very first in all of the United States!  Our beloved hometown of Russellville, Arkansas has been bestowed a great honor, privilege and opportunity to be an important partner in this ‘coming to America’ tale. Russellville citizens and our surrounding neighbors have this unique occasion, capable of changing America’s idea of what fast food choices could and should be.

Dr. (Marketing, University of Rome) Naser “Naserino” Ghazal, Creator and General Manager has partnered with new business owner and member of our community, Mutahar “Al” Al-Eryani, to bring SKK Italy (Shockabab Italy) and its unique philosophy and International menu to Arkansas’and, in proper time, America's attention.  He loving refers to his ‘growing child’ as “the fast food alternative” and considers Americans deserving of healthier, yet still delicious, dining choices away from home.

BBB: Watch for post-disaster 'red flags'

The damage caused by natural disasters such as floods and tornadoes can often bring out the best in people, as strangers reach out to help others in need. Unfortunately, the aftermath of a crisis also brings out persons who take advantage of those who have already been victimized.

Some of the most common "after-disaster" scams involve home repairs, clean-up efforts, heating and cooling equipment and flood-damaged cars.

It's not too late for Christmas deliveries

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - If you still haven't sent out your holiday gifts yet, you still have some time, and a few options. Though the deadline for pre-Christmas delivery via FedEx Ground is December 17th, last-minute shippers still have options. More than 82 percent of all packages shipped via FedEx Ground are delivered in three business days or less. Plus, procrastinators have until Saturday, December 22nd to ship items via FedEx Express for delivery in the continental U.S. on December 24th.

As online and in-store shoppers check off their lists, FedEx expects to see more than 280 million shipments pass through its worldwide shipping networks during the holiday season. To manage the extra volume, FedEx has increased its workforce by approximately 20,000 seasonal positions.
