Lake Dardanelle State Park will be hosting a bicycle rally as part of the annual Resource Rendezvous event. Join us in celebrating the great outdoors. This bicycle rally will be held May 4, 2013 for age 2-13. Helmets are required; we will have a limited number of helmets on hand that can be borrowed. We will have three age divisions: ages 2-6 with training wheels, ages 6-9 without training wheels, and ages 10-13 (without training wheels), this division will also have trivia challenges to complete as part of the race. You must register; either before the event at the visitor center or the morning of at the registration table located at the weigh-in pavilion. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and races will begin at 10 a.m. There is no entry fee. Prizes will be awarded after all races are complete followed by a free lunch which will be provided to all participants.

Lake Dardanelle State Park is one of the 52 state parks administered by the State Parks Division of the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. The park offers two areas on 34,300-acre Lake Dardanelle. The Russellville (main park) and Dardanelle locations both offer camping, marinas, launch ramps, standard pavilions, picnic sites, restrooms, and bathhouses. Along with the visitor center and fishing tournament weigh-in pavilion, the Russellville area offers a barrier-free fishing pier and nature trail. Year-round interpretive programs are offered at the Russellville area.

To reach each park: 1) Russellville Area -- Take Exit #81 (Ark. 7) off I-40 at Russellville. Turn south, then immediately turn west on Ark. 326 and go four miles; 2) Dardanelle Area -- Go four miles west of Dardanelle on Ark. 22.
