Ms. Magazine reaches out to Central Arkansas Women's Shelter

The ultra female super publication, Ms. Magazine (http://msmagazine.com/), has reached out to The Women's Shelter of Central Arkansas (http://www.conwaywomensshelter.com/) with a Ms. Magazine t-shirt donation for their residents.  Ms. Magazine was launched in the 70's during the highlight of the feminist movement with key players such as Gloria Steinem,  Letty Cottin Pogrebin and a host of others who set out to empower females and fight for equal rights.  Today the magazine is still encouraging women to break glass ceilings and call out injustices when seen.

The t-shirts were delivered last Friday, September 9 to Beth Goodrich, Executive Director of the shelter.  The Women's Shelter of Central Arkansas are happy for the additional support for their residents.  In an effort to continue to empower women, The Compassion Fashion Project has facilitated this special collaboration with Ms. Magazine's News Media Coordinator, Annie Shields.  By continuing to educate women on equal rights in our society, this donation is most definitely befitting for the cause.
