RUSSELVILLE, Ark. (AP) - No one was injured after a small plane was forced to make an emergency landing at the Russellville Municipal Airport.

The Courier (http://bit.ly/1YroDWZ ) reports that the small plane landed Sunday afternoon after the pilot, Yan Venter, radioed the airport and reported that his landing gear was disabled. He told airport officials that he would circle the airport in an attempt to release the landing gear.

Russellville Municipal Airport Director Keith Frazier said that the plane's emergency release for the landing gear did not work and the pilot landed with the wheels up. He exited the plane with no injuries.

The pilot was the only passenger on board.
