Black Oak Ranch & Saltillo

To assist in these areas, visit the Liberty Fire Department on Highway 64 in Conway. Representatives at this location will direct volunteers. For information on what's needed, call (501) 328-9900.

Center Hill

To help in Center Hill, visit the Center Hill Fire Department on Highway 36 in Searcy. Representatives will direct volunteers from there.

An excerpt of a post that has appeared on THV's Facebook several times reads, "The Center Hill/Joy Mountain/Floyd area were hit hard, but are not getting really any media attention. Several neighborhoods wiped out and trees/debris still in roads." According to Tamara Jenkins, White County Office of Emergency Management director, with the exception of Center Hill, the areas of White County with reported damage are in good shape at this time. She said there has been so much accomplished since the tornado struck Sunday that volunteers and donations are not needed as of now. If you're in a White County area that was damaged by the tornado and you have not received any community assistance, Jenkins said to contact the White County Office of Emergency Management at (501) 279-6277.

Additionally, Jenkins spoke very proudly to THV11 about the outpouring of support from White County residents.

Volunteers interested in working in the Ferndale area can go to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Kanis Road in Little Rock. Crews are being taken to work sites at 9 a.m., Noon, and 3 p.m. For more information, call (501) 821-4309.
